Meandering River | (field notes)

A second iteration of Meandering River occurred on September 20th as part of Hancher’s Infinite Dream festival. Guided by artists and scholars, participants gathered and observed a mesmerizing performance. Under initially overcast skies, sobering histories were interspersed with the wonderment and entangled ecologies of the Iowa River. Signs were posted along the way and all were offered a kit to engage the prompts, the setting, and reflect further.
